Please join us for MEIA’s Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. The event will include presentations on PFAS (also known as “forever chemicals”) and award ceremonies for the 2024 MEIA Lifetime Achievement Award and Deb Tardiff Scholarship Award winners.

The AGM and presentations will be followed by a networking reception with appetizers and light refreshments.

Tammy Chartrand, ALS Environmental: An introduction to analytical testing for Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS). PFAS

What Are PFAS? Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are a large, complex group of synthetic chemicals that have been used in consumer products around the world since about the 1950s. They are ingredients in various everyday products.
