We are seeking an experienced and dedicated miner to join our team! As a miner, you will play a crucial role in extracting valuable resources from our mining operations while adhering to the highest safety and environmental standards. Principal Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain mining equipment and machinery.
  • Conduct safety inspections and follow safety protocols at all times.
  • Perform drilling, blasting, and excavation activities as required.
  • Ensure the efficient extraction of minerals and ore while minimizing waste.
  • Collaborate with a team to achieve production targets.
  • Assist in routine maintenance and repair of equipment.
  • Report to any safety hazards, incidents, or equipment malfunctions promptly.
  • Adhere to all environmental and regulatory compliance standards.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of previous experience as a miner in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of mining equipment and machinery.
  • Commitment to safety and the ability to work in challenging and physically demanding conditions.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Willingness to undergo training and certification as required.
  • Familiarity with environmental and regulatory compliance standards is a plus.
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $38.24 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 12 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay
  • Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Lac du Bonnet, MB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

  • Drivers License (required)
