Doing Business with the Government of Canada 3-in-1 Seminar/ Webinar

The Government of Canada buys an average of $22B a year in goods and services. The majority of the purchases are from micro, small, and medium enterprises. This represents a lot of business opportunities for you!
The Office of Small and Medium Enterprises (OSME) is part of the Department of Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC).
OSME assists, engages, and informs SMEs on doing business with the Government of Canada along with raise awareness on federal programs and initiatives of interest to Canadian innovators and suppliers.
This special 3-in-1 seminar combines three of our most popular information sessions:

1 – Doing Business with the Government of Canada (8:30am-9:25am)
Overview of how the Government of Canada buys goods and services, tips in navigating the federal procurement process, and resources for entrepreneurs and SMEs in exploring making the Government of Canada one of their clients.

2 – Department of National Defence IDEaS program (9:30am-10:30am)
The Department of National Defence (DND) launched IDEaS in April 2018 as part of Canada’s defence policy, Strong, Secure, Engaged. The program was allocated $1.6 billion over 20 years to invest in the extraordinary talent and ingenuity in Canada to help resolve unclassified defence and security challenges. The various elements of IDEaS include Competitive Projects, Contests, Innovation Networks, Sandboxes, and Innovation Assessment & Implementation, covering all stages of the innovation spectrum.

3 – Supplier Registration: Optimize your Business Profile (10:35am-11:30am)
Learn how to register as a supplier to the Government of Canada, and access tools and resources helpful in marketing your company’s capabilities to departments and agencies. This workshop-style seminar will also help you optimize your business / supplier profile and set notifications for the Government Electronic Tendering Service to alert you when opportunities in your commodity are available.
