As part of the ongoing collaboration between the Manitoba Sustainable Energy Association (ManSEA) and the Manitoba Environmental Industries Association (MEIA), we are excited to announce the second webinar in a series on renewable energy and energy alternatives, Optimizing Geothermal Design. A recording of the webinar will be available for $15 for anyone who missed the opportunity to participate live.

Presenters
Ed Lohrenz, GEOptimize Inc.
Ed has worked in the geothermal heat pump industry since the early 1980s. He’s been very fortunate to work with a number of people as passionate about the industry as he is, in different parts of the industry and different countries. He’s worked as a residential system installer & designer, with manufacturers and equipment suppliers, and for the last 20 years as a commercial system design consultant.

Eric Souque, Efficiency Manitoba
Eric will briefly share with us a bit about the commercial offers from Efficiency Manitoba, and specifically their Ground Source Heat Pump incentive.

Topic
Find out about what a geothermal heat pump system is, important considerations in designing a system, success stories (and examples of why a design was not as successful as it could have been), design process, feasibility assessment software and the benefits of monitoring ground heat exchanger performance over the life of the building. A Q&A session will follow the presentation.

Who should attend
For anyone considering the use of geothermal as a heat source for your business, farm, or community infrastructure this is an excellent opportunity to learn more about it.

An invitation to join the webinar will be sent once your registration has been processed.
