As part of the Manitoba Association of Regional Recyclers annual forum, MEIA will once again be hosting a half day workshop on an emerging waste diversion issue and opportunity. This year we will be focusing on the Opportunities and Benefits of Diverting and Recovering Clean Wood Waste in Manitoba. The workshop aims to bring together representatives from companies and sectors that generate wood waste with experts on waste diversion and reuse and biomass energy recovery opportunities. The objective is to strengthen connections between the supply side and the demand side of wood waste management.
